three technical questions

I have three (not really related) technical questions.

1) I want to listed on my tablet (Android) using the browser. I choose not to download yet another app I will use only on rare occasion. Unfortunately, your site gives me nothing but a link to download the app. Is there any way around this to listen directly through the browser? (I have several browsers available.)

2) On your technical requirements page, under Linux, you list only Firefox. Is there any reason not to list Chrome, and you seem to support it under Windows. In addition, it might be nice to explicitly list Chromium, as although it is compiled from the same basic code base as Chrome, some folks prefer it as it has no proprietary Google code included.

3) I am currently listening through Google Chrome on a Windows 7 laptop, (no problems) However, if I click on "Help" at the top, and choose to open it in a new tab, that tab (where I am now typing this) has a "log in" link at the top, even though I am already logged in for listening. If I try to log in on the help page, it simply gives me the error that it cannot log me in as [email blocked]. While it is reasonable to not allow me to log in from two different devices at the same time, that's not the situation here, so an improved error message might be nice.

4) related to #3 - I just noticed your human check - which shouldn't be needed, since I AM logged in, only in a different tab of the same broswer. What gives?

Thanks.

    Hello Jack,

Thanks for writing in! I will answer your questions as best I can.

    1. Unfortunately, no. Our site incorporates Flash player, which is not supported by Android browsers.

    2. Good catch! In fact we do also support Chromium. I will update the Knowledge Base accordingly.

    3. (& 4) Our support forum and main site are entirely separate from one another, and thus require separate accounts and logins.

If you have followup questions, or if we can be of further assistance, please let us know.

Have a great day, and thanks again for listening,

    CE

    Thanks for the response.

Regarding 1 (not being able to listen on a tablet with a browser)
please give serious consideration to dumping Flash. While I don't
fully understand all the potential security issues, I do know it seems
to be used less and less. In addition, it means I won't be listening
on my phone or tablet, as I simply won't download yet another app for
something which should be so simple. If nothing else, it might be
worth mentioning on that page that the reason for needing the App is
    because Flash is not available.

However - I do not have Flash installed for either Chromium or Firefox
on my desktop, and the site plays just fine. (I know Flash is built
into Chrome, but not Chromium.) Is there something I'm not
understanding? Is there a difference in how you respond to desktop vs
    mobile browsers?

Yes - I now see the split between main and support sites - as I really
had to dig into this email to figure out which site we're talking
about. The only place it's mentioned is in the URL link to view this
discussion online. If nothing else, then, please update the error
message for a failed login to the support site. I was thinking it
failed because I was already logged in. Now, thinking about it as a
separate site, I supoose it failed because there was no account for
that email - but the error message just says "Couldn't log you in as
'[email blocked]'" and since the URL still shows accuradio, most
users would really have no reason to think they needed a different
login. At least it's possible to have this conversation without that
    account.
